Abstract Submission Rules and Guidelines
General Conditions and Information
Abstract submission must be completed online via the Submission platform. Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted. Submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the author(s) to present the work in person, if accepted. Failure to upload and register for the Congress by the set deadline will lead to the withdrawal of the abstract from the scientific program.
Abstract Information
Title
Typed in lower-case letters, except for abbreviations and first letter. Please be careful that your title might be truncated if you copy and paste it into the field. Do not include authors, institutions, city names, trademarks and abbreviations in the title.
Abstract Authors and Institutions
Your abstract must list at least one author in order to be submitted. The first author should be the abstract Presenter by default. The names of authors will be published as listed on the submission form. All participating institutions should be listed as applicable.
All abstracts must be submitted (and will be presented) in English.
Abstract submitted on animal studies must be according to the national law if applicable and include the number of local ethics committee.
We recommend you structure your abstract using the following headings:
- Background/Introduction
- Aim
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion(s)
Required number of characters: 1000 (minimum)/ 3300 (maximum)

Poster Instructions
The poster dimensions must be 1.20m high by 0.90m wide, with sufficiently clear font type and size.
- The presentation must cover the material as cited in the abstract.
- At the top of your poster indicate the title, authors and affiliations.
- Highlight the author names, e-mails, and address information in case the viewer is interested in contacting you for more information.
- Use more graphs and figures than text for a better comprehension; please use appropriate size and colors.
Oral Presentation
The total time scheduled for your presentation is 10 minutes, plus 5 minutes for questions.
We kindly ask you to upload your presentation at least 3 hours before your presentation.
